Work to replace all three of the lifts at Sutton station begins on Monday, with passengers who need step-free access advised to use an alternative accessible local station such as Carshalton or Cheam.

Network Rail will undertake work to strengthen the railway embankment near Edenbridge, with buses replacing trains along the route.

Network Rail, South Western Railway and the Ministry of Defence gathered together in Salisbury for a rededication of the locomotive to the Royal Artillery following a major overhaul of the train.
